Intervention Services

Intervention Services are provided to students with disabilities who require specially designed instruction and /or related services in order to make educational progress and access the general education curriculum.

Recognizing that individual differences exist among children, Salida Montessori Charter Schools offers speech/language therapy, physical therapy, psychological assessment and more to its students.  These services are designed to help each student fulfill their individual potential. Instruction occurs primarily in an inclusive general education setting, which balances the best of Montessori methodology with an increased focus on direct instruction.

If a child is in need of Intervention Services, an appropriate combination of classroom instruction and specialized assistance is developed via a Multi-Tiered System of Support. The goal of such help is always to enable a child to progress to the upper limits of his/her ability in the least restrictive environment.
